Applications:
These
motors are designed for use on direct-coupled, continuous-duty, and
centrifugal loads such as pumps, compressors, fans and blowers. API 547
standard motors are also suitable for use in Division 2 locations.
API 547 was developed to specify motors for
non-critical equipment without the need to
submit the 6 customer data sheet pages required
by API 541.
